Bookshop Day 2019 Our Top Picks

Since 2013, the Booksellers Association has run the much-loved Bookshop Day and Books Are My Bag campaign every year to celebrate the amazing work that bricks-and-mortar bookshops do for the communities they serve. Bookshop Day offers an opportunity to celebrate books in all their formats, create and promote a love of reading and get to know your local booksellers. It's also a great excuse (as if you needed one!) to buy a book or two!

Over 1000 bookshops across the country take part by putting on events, creating elaborate window displays and more! This year, Bookshop Day falls on 5th October and we're delighted to highlight some of the top events taking place.
