Harriet Sandys was raised on the sheltered shores of Lake Windermere. Her 20s saw a great departure from this cosy comfortable lakeland life. Having trained in Oriental carpet making, Harriet found herself travelling solo to Pakistan. This sparked a life-long lust for travel, charity and a love of textiles.
Beyond That Last Blue Mountain is a memoir told in thread, silk and place and is every bit as enigmatic as Harriet herself. Copies are currently on sale in store and will be at the event.
This is a non-ticketed event and is free to attend.
