Emma Mitchell has struggled with depression for 25 years - or, as she calls it, 'the grey slug'. In 2003, she moved from London to the edge of the Cambridgeshire Fens and began taking walks across the countryside she could now call her home. Each walk, while photographing, collecting and drawing as she went, lifted her spirits and proved to be as medicinal, she believes, 'as any talking therapy or pharmaceutical.'
